Welcome to Winter... Finally.

It has been a very long time since I wrote anything here. My life has been eventful lately, and I haven’t really wanted to share everything with the world, as it was happening.
Let’s see, a run-down of what’s happened to me since October, not exactly in chronological order.
- I found out around the first of December that I was pregnant. (We’ve been trying for about two years.) I planned to make the big announcement at my family’s big Christmas gathering, but started spotting the very day we arrived. Spent the entire vacation on semi-bedrest only to lose the baby the day after Christmas.
- Other than not being able to visit with anyone who didn’t come to my parents house to visit me, and not being able to be on my feet more than a few minutes at a time, I had a pretty good visit with my parents.
- After two miscarriages in two years, I’ve decided to give the whole trying to concieve thing a rest for a while. So far, there are no future plans to resume.
- The only thing that kept me from depression during the whole ordeal is that we got a call from a realtor on Christmas Eve telling us that there was an offer on our house, it only took fourteen months to get one.
- On the 24th of January, we ceased to be homeowners and renters. Now we are just renters saving up to be homeowners again.
- In light of all the stress that was involved in selling that house, it is probably a good thing I lost the baby when I did.
- Gage is doing pretty well in school. Actually, our whole family dynamic has improved a LOT over the last couple of years.
- Jeremy introduced me to a free online game, Voyage Century. I think I’m obsessed/addicted.
- If you follow that link and think you want to play, be aware that the game is a ~1gig download. If you don’t have, at least, dsl then you probably don’t even want to attempt it.
- If you do decide to play, I’m on the Magellan server, leave me your character name and I will contact you in-game.)
I guess that’s about it. If I think of anything else, I’ll add it to the list.

In honor of my best friend’s son, who was born with spina bifida a little over a year ago, I put this ribbon on my site.

October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month. Learn more about spina bifida by going to the Spina Bifida Association of America’s website @ www.sbaa.org

You Scored an A
|

You got 10/10 questions correct.
It’s pretty obvious that you don’t make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you’re annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they’re only human.
And it’s humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

See. I can… I just don’t.

Like Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches? Want one free? Go to freechickenandcoke.com and you might get a coupon for a free sandwich and medium coke. They are giving out one million coupons, but the offer ends on the 29th even if they didn’t all get given away.
Personally, I think that Chick-Fil-A has the best chicken sandwiches and would be getting a coupon if I could use it. However, there isn’t a Chick-Fil-A in Bloomington/Normal, except the one in the State Farm cafeteria and you have to be an employee to get into the cafeteria.
(Scratch that, I checked and there are three CFAs in the area. One in each of the State Farm campuses and one on the Illinois State campus… all with restricted access.
)
Anyway, if you want one, you better sign up for it. (They come through the mail, btw.)
